Dr. Lam,

I have limited donor hair left (as I expressed in this forum about my 4 scalp reductions and 280 the old standard plugs and 40 minigrafts) my question is this...I want you to recommend to me a hair vitamin that is a super potency hair vitamin that will thicken the rest of my limited donor hair to achieve the results I need. Can you please tell me which supplement to start taking so I can start before I have you do my procedures. Please advise....time is of the essence..thank you sir!.

yes, the vitamins are called propecia and rogaine. you should start those immediately if you haven't. seriously. nothing else works.

So your telling me Propecia and Rogaine will thicken up existing donor hair instead of a multivitamin with a hair vitamin?..if so is there a concoction of Propecia and Rogaine mixed together in one topical containing both?...thanks in advance.

let me clarify: i'm talking of the recipient area. there is nothing to help the donor hair per se. not that would involve some quack doc promoting bunk IMHO. propecia does not work topically and minoxidil does not work orally. don't waste your time with fancy concoctions that cost too much. they don't work. only propecia (prescription only) and minoxidil (over the counter) can strengthen hair but they are not intended to strengthen donor hair. there really is nothing that can do that.
