Dr Lam's Hair Restoration Forum

Dr. Lam - given the texture and curly nature of the black American hair, would it be ill-advised to get an eyebrow transplant? My eyebrows have always been then at the far ends and I'm now ready to do something about it. What are some options for source of hair? Would I be able to make public appearances within one week of the procedure?

i have not done an eyebrow transplant on an AA. however, i would not imagine it to be any different except the hair would be curlier since i have to use scalp hair but i pick the finest hairs that you have when i harvest them. at a week you should be socially acceptable for work. the first few days would not be the case. there is a chance that you may have to use something like cover girl professional to relax the curl of the hairs. that has been suggested to me by one of my colleagues. i have a new way of doing eyebrows using a Lion implanter that is beyond amazing, accurate, and artistic. hard to describe on here but amazing.
