Hi Bill here.
I've been on Proscar for about 3 weeks and I was wondering, am I supposed to
cut the pills in 4 or 5 pieces? My hair transplat surgeon told me to cut the pills in quarters
but when I went online to double check, some people recommended cutting the pills in 5.
And are there any generics for propecia out there in the market? Propecia is way too costy
and I hate cutting Proscar into pieces as the pieces cut can never contain the equal amount.
I am extremely sensitve and careful when it comes to medication so if you'd be kind enough
to provide me with an accurate answer, it would be greatly appreciated.

i would go with 4 cuts even though you are getting a little over a mg. it is far easier to do and 1.25 mg should be fine.
